4th July 2025 — To deepen youth national defence education, under the organisation of the Macau Education and Youth Development Bureau, two teachers from our school led thirty students to visit the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy’s Zhanjiang and Yuncheng warship at the Hong Kong Ngong Shuen Chau Naval Base. This visit allowed students to personally experience the achievements of the nation’s maritime military development.
During the event, students listened attentively to explanations about the combat systems, navigational performance, and readiness missions of the two warships. They boarded the deck to observe the shipborne weapons, radar equipment, and living quarters up close. Faced with the impressive modern warships, students remained focused, asked enthusiastic questions, and even had the opportunity to operate some shipborne facilities, gaining a profound appreciation for the determination and professionalism of the personnel guarding the nation’s waters. This on-site visit was an important practice of ‘Patriotic Education for Macau.’ At the end of the tour, the students from Yuet Wah College expressed their gratitude to the stationed troops, praising their professional guidance and establishing an example of loyalty and courage for Macau’s youth.    |
