The ‘Golden Lotus Award’ Macao Essay, Calligraphy, and Painting Competition, hosted by the International (Macau) Institute of Academic Research, has successfully concluded. This competition aimed to showcase the charm of Macao and promote Chinese culture, encouraging teachers and students to express their feelings through writing and art, highlighting their love for this land. As the driving force behind cultural inheritance and innovation, young people need to understand the cultural essence of Macao and its connections to Chinese culture through their creations. They should recognise their mission as cultural transmitters and creators, continuously conveying cultural warmth and demonstrating cultural confidence through their work.
