To promote the great spirit of resistance, inspire patriotism, and foster national pride, our school organised an event on the morning of September 3 for all teachers and students to watch the live broadcast of the Commemorative Gala. A group of students from SM3, accompanied by two teachers, attended the event at the Macao Polytechnic University, while the remaining students and teachers watched together in the Jubilee Complex Hall, Bosco Building Hall, and the School Hall, collectively remembering the history of the resistance and promoting the enduring national spirit and the great spirit of resistance.
During the event, everyone attentively listened to President Xi Jinping’s important speech, deeply understanding the theme of the times: ‘Remembering history, commemorating the martyrs, cherishing peace, and creating the future.’ This further enhanced our sense of national pride and historical responsibility. Teachers and students observed the impressive and powerful march of the troops on parade, along with various Chinese-manufactured main battle equipment, witnessing the continuous enhancement of the nation’s military strength, which safeguards peaceful development. This event also instilled a deep sense of pride in our powerful nation among all teachers and students, making them acutely aware that the strength of the motherland is the most solid backing for Macau’s long-term prosperity and stability. It further increased students’ understanding of the nation’s history and their confidence in the future.   |
