To broaden students’ artistic horizons, strengthen their cultural identity, and foster an appreciation for the profound depth of Chinese instrumental music, our school organized teachers and students from JM3 and F3 to attend the ‘Savoring Tradition, Appreciating Chinese Music’ special concert on September 30. The event was held at the University of Macau Hall in Hengqin and hosted by the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ).
Integrating musical performance with knowledge dissemination, this unique journey into Chinese music provided students with a direct understanding of the diversity of traditional instruments and the richness of Chinese music. The diverse repertoire guided students through a distinctive musical experience, planting seeds of affinity for tradition and love for the arts in their young minds, while offering teachers and students an unforgettable audio-visual feast.  |
