On November 6, upon the invitation of the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ), our school participated in the 15th National Games. Our SM3 and F6 students had the valuable opportunity to attend the intense karate competitions at the Macao Forum.
The most exhilarating moment came when our students witnessed the Macao Team clinch its first-ever gold medal in the history of the Games, achieved in the Men's Team Kata final. This made the experience truly exceptional. The atmosphere at the venue was electrifying. The athletes demonstrated remarkable composure and powerful, precise techniques. Each sharp strike and steady movement showcased the exceptional prowess and indomitable spirit of national-level competitors, offering our students a profound real-life lesson in the perseverance and dedication encapsulated by the saying, ‘A minute on the stage requires ten years of practice off it.’ |
