The first Sunday Mass for Parents of this school year was successfully held on November 21. The first part of the day was the Sunday Mass by our school supervisor, Fr Yip Tai Ho and our principal, Fr Chow Pak Fai. That day was Christ the King’s Day, and Fr Yip shared : Christ’s judgment is important, and He taught us to be good and avoid evil. But we must not only focus on the judgment of the kingdom of heaven, but also focus on the sacrifice and love of Christ on the cross.
After the mass, the attendees participated in a talk for parents on "Psychological Causes and Prevention of Youth Deviant Behaviors". The guest speaker is Lau Zhen Fung, director of the Women's Federation Psychotherapy Center. During the talk, he summarized the types and causes of students' deviant behaviors to parents, and discussed the crux of the problems and ways to prevent them. After the talk, the guests introduced reference books on youth behavior and parental discipline to the parents, and also provided intervention support methods to the attendees. Everyone benefited a lot.
