In order to enhance students' knowledge of science, cultivate their interest in science and let them know more about the development of science and technology, we organised a number of Science Month activities in November, including school exhibitions, science talks and Science Quiz Competition.
From 8th - 19th November, an exhibition on Mangrove forest was held in collaboration with the University of Saint Joseph of Macau. The exhibition highlighted the importance of Mangrove forest in coastal ecosystems and their critical role in combating climate change. It also showcases how Mangrove forest act as a natural barrier to protect coastal communities from tidal waves, and features a variety of information and vivid images of the fauna in Macau's coastal waters, in hope of encouraging students to participate in local conservation work and raising interests in learning about environmental protection.
