On January 11, a group of more than 20 captains from the Junior section , led by the instructors of the Captain Association, visited the Macao Museum of Art for the exhibition "Quintessence of Imperial Kiln Porcelain of the Ming Dynasty". It is one of the royal materials that highlighted the absolute authority of the emperor. In the Ming Dynasty, except for the use of the emperor and his family, no one could own or use it unless it was a reward from the emperor, which shows that it was precious.
The tour guide gave a detailed explanation of each link from product style, to production, acceptance, transportation, and use, so that students could understand the varieties and characteristics of porcelain fired in the Jingdezhen imperial kiln in the Ming Dynasty. This activity not only enabled our captains to have a preliminary grasp of the knowledge of imperial kilns, but also enhanced our students' interest in traditional Chinese culture.
All our captains benefited a lot in this visit and said that they would share what they heard with their classmates. They also hope to have the opportunity to visit the exhibition at the Macao Museum of Art again in the near future.
