Midday Rosary Prayer Gathering and Mother Mary Evening Event
On 13th October 2023, the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, our school organised a midday Rosary prayer activity in front of the bamboo grove. Students gathered together to recite the Rosary in unity, praying for world peace, a non-violent culture, and offering prayers for the graduating class. They sought the intercession and assistance of Mother Mary. After school in the afternoon, the Salesian Youth Association held a Mother Mary evening event at the school. The event began with Ms. Un Mio Iong, the director of Spiritual and Moral Education, leading the recitation of the Rosary. Following that, Mr. Ng Hon In explained and introduced the paper aeroplane competition. The competition required students to write their prayer intentions and academic goals on the paper aeroplanes, guiding the Salesian Youth Association students to strive towards their goals. Each association member folded their paper aeroplanes based on the instructions in the video and then the competition began in groups. Students actively participated, creating a lively atmosphere. After the paper aeroplane activity, everyone moved to the main cathedral, where they quieted their hearts and wrote a letter to Mother Mary, expressing their personal intentions, goals, and prayers for world peace, dedicating it to her. The subsequent activities included the Charity Association's Holy Water Spring, a grand dinner, handicraft popcorn, jade appreciation, and various ball games. Finally, with joyful hearts, the evening event concluded with prayers and blessings, carrying the echo of Mother Mary, and everyone returned home safely. We thank Mother Mary for her guidance and companionship! After the time of peace, pray for us! |
